Here we have the power supply board. It too, had a number of resistors that had the insulation
chipped off, and several that were showing signs of heating. There is a small section under the
regulator transistor where the heat has discolored the board.

No apparent damage from the heating. The integrity of the traces and joints were excellent. Even
moderate heating over time will cause discoloration. It does not always indicate a component issue.
