Here is the finished product. Indeed a very nice unit. The cabinet was refinished, but the ring scaring was too deep to remove completely. However, the cabinet cleaned up fairly well, as did
the glass (i.e., acrylic plastic), faceplate, and bezel. Scoped at 165wpc!!!. This unit has a very strong low-end, and has the finest low-level listening characteristics of any receiver I have ever
heard. The loudness switch steps up the low-end substantially, and actually ate a set of test speaker when I switched it on and had the volume and bass turned up too loud.
