The finished unit turned out very nice. Their is no evidence of its harsh shipping experience. The sound is very nice, typical of Marantz. It is a very clean unit and it turned out beautiful. My
daughter listened to this in her room for several weeks and then decided to adopt the 2275 I had just completed (a write up on that one is coming). The decision was based on cosmetic
preference more than sound quality. She loves the original black/blue face of the early Marantz. I kind of like the silver/blue of this generation. I moved this unit to my office for a while and
enjoyed it very much.
