Here are shots of the completed unit. It turned out fairly well. Every section was cleaned, inspected, and repaired if needed. All new display
lamps were installed as well as the stereo pilot lamps. I hooked up the FM alignment generator and scope and after spot checking several
frequencies along the FM dial, I found it to be spot on and I made no adjustments. Audio grade capacitors were used throughout the audio
paths and in the tuner sections.
Listening impressions: This unit sounds very nice. Typical Marantz sound with strong bass that will improve the bottom-end of the most
anemic speakers.

Even though the left output
transistors were blown, I had
a set or original output to
replace them with.
A complete new set of display lamps were installed as well as new filter paper to bring back that "Marantz blue" lighting.
